Multi Verse Models 1/72 Twin Bombardier (TIE Bomber)

There are already 1/72 scale TIE Fighters, TIE Interceptors and even Darth Vader's TIE Advance out there with Fine Mold's kits setting the benchmark while Bandai's just now coming into the scene, but there are still no TIE Bomber, no plastic kit of her anyway.

This unique aircraft first made her appearance in Star Wars : The Empire Strikes Back, and instantly became a favorite with fans due to it's unique dual elongated body for (I assume) storing her ordinance of bombs. She wasn't seen much after that but that didn't stop toy makers and gamers from exploiting her uniqueness. Can't blame them.

And if you are an Imperial loyalist with a fleet of TIE fighter kits  displayed, then you are going to need a TIE Bomber to complete your arsenal. Introducing the 1/72 Twin Bombardier from MVM.

Multi Verse Models carry the 1/72 Twin Bombardier, another name for the TIE Bomber. This is a remastered version from the kit offered by Fantastic Plastic earlier, and both were mastered by Alfred Wong. She measures a nice 5" / 13 cm and comes with an internal cockpit and pilot, display stand, MVM decals and vacu-formed viewport. A little pricey at USD 75 but worth it if you wish to have the complete fleet of Imperial fighters.

More after the jump.

And if you have already owned the Fantastic Plastic's kit, don't fret as Multi Verse also offers a conversion set at a nifty USD 35 to get your kit on par with the remastered version.
